This Proud Mary "Paleis het Loo" is an addition to the existing series "Proud Mary's" of the royal pottery "De porseleyne fles" internationally known as Royal Delft. On the occasion of the reopening of Paleis Het Loo in April 2023 near Royal Delft a royal collection. The collection highlights the beautiful palace, the iconic peacocks, and the graceful fountain. The Proud Mary within this collection is unique and wears a pearl necklace for the first time.

These beautiful statues are named after Mary II, the wife of William III and great lover and collector of Delft Blue in the Golden Age. The Proud Mary collection from Royal Delft (Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles) was created from the desire to give the iconic Delft Blue, in production since 1653, a contemporary look and feel with a nod to the 17th century. Of course, this naming after one of the greatest collectors from the Golden Age is no coincidence. It was her wish to grow into a contemporary collector's item, a modern icon of Delft Blue from Royal Delft. These Proud Mary statues do not belong to the screen print collection and are all 17 cm high. Each statue consists of 4 parts, the skirt, body, collar and head and if you own multiple statues you could also parts independently.
