This Delft blue table box / bonbonnière is decorated with colored tulips and traditional Delft blue motifs. This beautiful large bonbonnière with orange tulips has a loose lid and is hand painted. This table box is a true jewel in both the classic and modern interior.

Polychrome is a painting technique with the colors brown, green, yellow and blue. The decoration technique and the use of color originate from countries around the Mediterranean Sea and were first applied around 1800 to decorate Delft pottery.
