Ceramic golden kissing couple. Special unique version of the famous Delft blue kissing couple.

The history of the delft blue kissing couple probably dates back to the 17th century when the reconciliation between Jacoba van Beieren and Philip of Burgundy was commemorated in 1428. A battle between the Hoeken and Kabeljauwen, the elite of the county of Holland that lasted from 1345 to 1492. In the 17th century Delft blue pottery was very valuable and promotional gifts were made for the noble elite.
