Description

Delft blue table box with loose lid in the shape of a "Haags Hopje". A "Haags hopje" is a typical Dutch candy that is packed in a special way. This rare ceramic box is made like the original packaging of the real Haagsche hopje. The sides of the box are decorated with a windmill in a landscape, the stork logo of The Hague and the Ridderzaal of the Binnenhof in The Hague. Store chocolate, sweets, tea bags or sugar in this special box.

This beautiful table box was made in a limited edition in a Dutch ceramic workshop.
