Tile with a Delft blue decoration of a windmill in a typical Dutch landscape. A beautiful sturdy tile made of Delft blue earthenware. These somewhat thicker tiles were used as decoration in the 17th century and were placed in the chimney. This Delft blue tile has the corner motif of "De Ossekop", which originated around 1650. The size of this decorative tile is slightly smaller than the usual Delft tiles of 15 x 15 cm, the tile is 13 x 13 centimeters.
