Applique delft blue windmill landscape large

Delft blue applique with an image of a windmill in a Dutch landscape.

A windmill in a typical Dutch landscape is one of the first paintings that were used to make Delft blue wall plates and tiles that are used as decoration (showpiece) piece. The windmill in landscape is framed by the well-known traditional Delft blue floral decoration.

This applique has a slightly raised edge and can be used as a decoration piece, but of course also as a serving dish. There are holes on the back so that the applique can be easily attached.
